This is the first carousel book I ever made, comprised of 5 etchings and relief cut gold borders and inspired by curiosity cabinets and the original use for carousel books which was developed in the 20’s as a story-telling device. I ended up selling it to my teacher, and frankly I kinda miss looking at it, it was one of the first artist books I ever really worked hard on and got me into making books.
