My commencement show is all hung up. That seemed entirely too easy. If you want to see all of this in person head to the 3rd floor of MICA’s fox building. If you go to art walk on the 16th I’ll be standing next to my work!
It’s a beautiful day for spray painting bug mannequins
Demon pizza bookmarks/mini prints/rad items printed with polymer plate on a vandercook press.
Finished my 3 layer letter press print today of my light rail comic. Gonna trim and edition tomorrow. (Also, I may or may not have some letter pressed demon pizzas in the works).
A comic I made out of various visual journalism sketches I’ve made. This is soon to be an 11”x15” letter pressed poster. I’m going to make these into polymer plates tomorrow! Woooo.
These are based off of my experiences on the lightrail, as well as a recent emotional experience I had when an officer threatened to handcuff me for drawing at a light rail station (bottom panel).

Camden Yards in Baltimore
Short little Vine of my new commencement postcards. They came out so well I’m so excited that it worked! I wasn’t sure how it was going to look, but it’s definitely got an interesting texture thanks to the UV coating. There are so many different ways you can layer it, now I’m plotting new promo pieces.. hmmm…
If you’re in the Baltimore/DC area you should stop by for the MICA commencement show. All over campus there will be shows from undergraduate seniors and trust me they are all amazing. The seniors this year (and generally all other years really) are a talented bunch and I personally know there’ll be some great exhibits that I’m excited to see go up! The shows are up from the 17th of May to the 20th, and most of the art will also be for sale.
(Also if you are at MICA I might be dropping some of these cards around campus, grab em up!)
Letter pressed grad announcements! (Wood type and pressure printing)
Just ordered my commencement postcards. The bee pattern on the back will be in UV gloss coating (subtle and shiny!). Had to pay a little extra to get these in time for my final crit next Tuesday, crossing my fingers that it will be worth it. Also it was only 2 bucks for the corners to be rounded!
Late night watercolorin for visual journalism!
This is part of my next book that I am tentatively calling “4 train rides.”
